Are they over? Was all the money spent wasted? Has the dream team turned in to a Nightmare?
These are just a few questions surrounding Philadelphia sports teams. Where did the Phillies offense go come playoff time? Watching them play was painful at some times. With all the talent that we have in game five we couldn’t come up with one run?!?! We spent all that money on our pitching staff and then brought in Hunter Pence but come playoff time we cant even give our defense some run support. Id like to see what everyone thinks of the Phillies and how their season ended this year so make sure you comment on the bottom and join the discussion.
On to the Eagles, is our season really over? In my opinion if they don’t make a historic run for the rest of the season and turn their defense around then we wont even make the playoffs. I don’t understand how we spend all this money, get all these amazing players, and still cant win a game!!! Maybe it has something to do with us hiring our offensive line coach to run our defense? Letting Asomugha play a zone defense when he is a man coverage corner. Giving up big running plays is becoming an every down thing for us. I think we need to give Castillo his walking papers and fast before this season and all that money was a waste.
Id like everyone to weigh in on the comments on what we should do to improve the Eagles and Phillies and don’t say root for the Flyers!!!
